Established in 2000, the Raktrul Foundation is a tax-exempt, 501-c-3 non-profit organization located in Red Hook, New York. The mission is to assist underprivileged communities in Tibet by developing, implementing and sustaining programs for education, medical care, solar power, and community support.

The Raktrul Foundation was founded and is chaired by Bardor Tulku Rinpoche. Future plans are for the clinic to provide: check ups, x-ray and its analysis, dental care, immunization, and other well-being care. Any contribution will make all the difference.
